About Bothell Pro Plumbing
We are a plumbing company based in Bothell, WA. This page explains how we work and how you can check any plumber before you hire.
Who we are
Bothell Pro Plumbing handles emergency and planned plumbing in Bothell and nearby towns. We work from 20511 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98012. We answer the phone around the clock, because burst pipes and sewer backups do not wait.
We focus on drains, leaks, water heaters, sewer lines, repiping and fixtures. See the full list on our services page.
How we work
- You call. We ask what is happening and tell you what to shut off.
- We tell you a clear price before work starts, and we wait for your approval.
- We explain whether a problem needs repair, replacement or can wait.
- We tell you if a permit applies, and we handle the steps in Bothell.
- We do not use forms. Everything starts with a phone call.
How to verify any plumber in Washington
Washington requires plumbing contractors to be licensed, and the state Department of Labor and Industries has an online lookup at lni.wa.gov/verify that shows contractor registration, insurance and plumber certification. Use it for any contractor, including us. Plumbing work in the state is governed by the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) as adopted in WAC 51-56, and contractors are licensed under RCW 18.106.
Ask for the contractor registration number, check that the business is registered and make sure the person working on your system is certified. A good contractor expects the question.
What we will not do
We will not give a price for a complicated problem without seeing it, because the cause decides the cost. We will not push replacement when a repair will do. We do not publish reviews or ratings we cannot back up, so we have none on this site.

How we decide between repair and replacement
Our rule is simple: if a repair will hold and costs a fraction of replacement, we repair. If a part is worn out in a way that will fail again, we say so and explain why. A leaking tank, a collapsed sewer pipe and a corroded supply line are examples where replacement is the honest answer.
When the choice is close, we give you both prices and the reasoning. You decide. We would rather lose a bigger job than sell you something you do not need.
Safety rules we follow on every call
Gas, sewage and electricity can hurt people. If you smell gas, we tell you to leave the building and call 911 from outside before anything else. If sewage has backed up, we tell you to keep children and pets away and to avoid touching affected surfaces. If water is near electrical outlets, we tell you to stay out of it until power is off.
We also tell you what is yours to fix and what belongs to the utility. If the problem is on the public main, we say so and point you to the right number.
After the job is done
We test the work before we leave and show you what we did. We explain what to watch for and what to avoid, and we tell you if a permit or inspection is part of the job. Keep your invoice and any permit paperwork. They matter for insurance and when you sell the house.
If something does not seem right after we leave, call. We would rather come back than have you wonder.
Licensing and insurance
We are a licensed and insured plumbing business. We do not print license numbers or the names of individual plumbers on this site, so you will not find them here. Ask when you call and we will give you what you need to verify us on the state lookup.
The Washington Department of Labor and Industries lookup also lets you check insurance and bonding status for any contractor you consider. Run the check on every company you compare.
What we ask of you
Tell us the truth about what happened, including anything you tried first. A chemical cleaner, a rental machine or a patch with tape changes how we approach the job. Know where your main water shutoff is, and test it once a year so it works when you need it.
If you rent, tell us, and tell your landlord. If you own, keep the paperwork on your plumbing, including permits and past invoices. It saves time and money later.
Where we work
We work in Bothell and the towns around it, including Kenmore, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Mill Creek and Mountlake Terrace. Kenmore has its own page, Emergency Plumber Kenmore WA, and the full list is on the service areas page.
We know the city from Canyon Park to Downtown Bothell, and we keep up with what the Bothell Permit Center asks for on water heater and plumbing jobs.
